APL Signatures Exploitation Program

Colloquium Speaker: Marc A. Kolodner

Marc A. Kolodner is a member of the Senior Professional Staff at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. He received his B.S. in Physics from Tulane University in 1990 and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1994 and 1997, respectively, specializing in microwave remote sensing of planetary atmospheres. Dr. Kolodner joined APL in 1999 and is now part of the Defense Analyses and Applications Group. His work has focused on the development of prototype software for both multi- and hyper-spectral remote sensing applications, including physics-based spectral signature modeling and data exploitation. He has supported multiple DoD and National Intelligence programs during his 11 year tenure at APL.
