Colloquium Topic: Undercover Operations in Counter-Proliferation Investigations

For over thirty years, the U.S. Customs Service and now the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been responsible for the investigation and detention of export controlled technology, leaving and transiting the United States. ICE is the lead investigative agency for export violations, and has had many recent successes in this investigative area. SSA Marcell will provide an overview of ICE and Counter Proliferation Investigative (CPI) investigations, including the subject of deemed exports.
